A story about the Choluteca bridge of Honduras is fascinating! Honduras is notorious for hurricanes. The 1930 vintage Bridge built again in 1996. Realizing, it will face extreme weather conditions, brought in the best architectural minds to reconstruct. In 1998, Honduras was also hit by Hurricane. Roads were wiped out and every other bridge destroyed. However, Choluteca bridge due to its strong foundation survived. But the river changed its path, no longer ran under the bridge, making bridge redundant. Analogous to our life, the Coronavirus has changed the world in ways we had never imagined.
