Datesheet For CBSE Class 10, 12 Exams Announced; Practical’s From March 1

Union Education Minister Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank announced the much-awaited date sheet for Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) class 10th and 12th board exam. Addressing a webinar, Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal said that the exams would be conducted from May 4 to June 10 while the results will be announced by the CBSE “most likely” on July 15.

On 30th Dec 2020, the Education Minister said that he would release the date sheet for CBSE class 10th, 12th board exams on 31st Dec 2020 during a live session. Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal noted that the detailed date sheet for exams would be uploaded on the CBSE’s official website -after his online address.

Here’s is the 5 step process how you can find the detailed date sheet for CBSE class 10th and 12th board exams 2021:

Step 1) Visit the official CBSE website at cbse.nic.in.

Step 2) Search for the link that reads ‘CBSE Board Exam 2021 date sheet for classes 10 and 12’. Click on it.

Step 3) After this, you will be redirected to another page where the CBSE would have uploaded the exam dates for the class 10th and 12th board exams.

Step 4) Now select class 10th and 12th as per your preference.

Step 5) The exam dates for class 10th and 12th board exams will appear on your screen. Download them and save a printout for future reference.

“COVID-19 has spread all over the world. During these difficulties, we have done a lot of work online. But our goal is to reach the last student. We are not considering conducting online exams. The exams will be conducted in the same manner as earlier,” he had said, as reported by news agency ANI.

Earlier, Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal had also clarified that the CBSE would not conduct the class 10th and 12th board exams in January or February while adding that the exams will be held physically by the board.

The CBSE board had previously reduced the syllabus of board exams by 30 per cent.

CBSE Board Exams 2021 Paper Pattern

CBSE board has divided the question paper into two parts for evaluation. 20 marks are fixed for internal examination and 80 for external CBSE board examination. CBSE provides 33 per cent internal choice among the questions in most of the subjects and duration of three hours is given to finish the exam.

CBSE Board Passing Marks 2021

For Class 12, each student must score at least 33 per cent marks in theory and 33 per cent in practical and internal assessment. Along with this, the total marks should be at least 33 per cent in each subject to pass the examination.
