VIP Clothing Ltd appoints three distinguished members to its Board of Directors

Mumbai, 26 March 2024: VIP Clothing, a leading Indian company engaged in the manufacturing and marketing of innerwear, has appointed Kishor Navandar, Vandana Kumari Bhardwaj, and Vilas Chandrakant Gupte as the new independent directors, fortifying its commitment to excellence in corporate governance and strategic leadership.

Kishor Navandar, an Entrepreneur, Philanthropist, and Founder/CMD of Blue Billion Group, brings a wealth of experience spanning various industries, including Hospitality, Real Estate, Media, Adventure Sports, Energy, and Soft Drinks. His astute leadership has earned him recognition as one of the top 50 visionaries in India by Forbes India in 2021. Additionally, Dr. Navandar’s recent accolade, a Doctorate from a Harvard-affiliated institution, further highlights his entrepreneurial excellence.

Vandana Kumari Bhardwaj, hailing from Himachal Pradesh and currently based in Mumbai, is a Director and Spokesperson of Marie Claire, B2cnetwork LLP, a distinguished Paris-based salon franchise in India. With academic credentials including a BCom, Masters in Public Administration, and an honoured PhD in Social Work, Ms. Bhardwaj’s multifaceted expertise extends to entrepreneurship, social welfare, and entertainment production. Notably, she has been recognised with prestigious awards such as the Mumbai Entrepreneur Award 2022 and has founded the NGO ‘My Helping Hands’, dedicated to the welfare of children and animals.

Vilas Chandrakant Gupte, with an M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry and specialised training in Color Technology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, USA, brings extensive experience to the Board. As a Consultant at AGS Transact Technologies Ltd, Mr. Gupte has spearheaded the Colour Business division, servicing major clients in textiles, paints, plastics, and automobiles. His contributions to the field have earned him notable awards, including the Chartered Colourist (C. Col) designation by the Society of Dyers & Colourists, UK, and a Silver Medal for his significant contributions to Colour Science in India.

Together, Kishor, Vandana, and Vilas bring a sharp sense of business acumen, entrepreneurial spirit, and industry recognition to the table, ready to bolster VIP Clothing’s strategic vision and ensure its continued success in the marketplace.
