IIM Kashipur Unveils ‘Soft Skills for the Workplace of Tomorrow’ Program for Managers and Executives
The Indian Institute of Management Kashipur has introduced a five-day Open Management Development Programme (MDP) titled ‘Soft Skills for the Workplace of Tomorrow.’ The program, scheduled from February 5th to 9th, 2024, is specifically designed for managers and executives with the goal of enhancing competencies across various organizational levels and fostering adaptability to evolving global scenarios.
The ‘Soft Skills for the Workplace of Tomorrow‘ program aims to assist participants in cultivating soft skills and building a more effective executive presence. Successful completion of the program is expected to empower professionals to exhibit excellence in key soft skills, including problem-solving, leadership, communication, critical thinking, and executive storytelling.
Smarak Samarjeet, the program director at IIM Kashipur, highlighted the crucial role soft skills play in high-impact leadership. The Soft Skills MDP program aligns with the increasing industry demand for executives capable of contributing to organizational growth.
The five-day Open Management Development Programme will consist of four daily sessions, offering a comprehensive learning experience over the specified period. In addition to this, IIM Kashipur has also launched another MDP program titled ‘Effective Workplace Communication for Managers of Tomorrow.’ Recognizing the growing importance of strong communication skills, this MDP will focus on communication styles, adaptations, authenticity, listening skills, and persuasive language.
