Public Speaking: A Must Skill

If you can speak you can influence and if you can influence you can inspire.

In surveys conducted by Microsoft, Fast Company, LinkedIn, Forbes and others, senior executives were asked about the skills they look for in future leaders of their organizations. Consistently at the top was the ability to speak well in public.
If you can communicate an idea in a manner that is clear, compelling and memorable, you will make an impact.

My statement for anyone going for a talk;

“Don’t go for a talk, go for impact – Author Sherry

You will have more opportunities, personally and professionally, and you will be highly sought after.

Many people say, “Yes, I know public speaking is important, but I’ve never been a good speaker.” I always tell them what the American poet, Ralph Waldo Emerson said: “All the great speakers were bad speakers at first.”

I am man on a mission to create 1 million public speakers by 2030 in India.

A youth needs speaking skills to stay supremely confident, express oneself and enhance personality development.

Whether it is an impromptu speaking, job interview, group discussion, debate or a corporate presentation, public speaking is a common affair in all of them

Public speaking will give our nation future leaders, corporate tycoons and serial entrepreneurs.

If you wish to become an ace public speaker, here is what I recommend to you;

Authenticity: Stay true to your opinion and express it with warmth and conviction

Audience loves public speakers who share their stories and entertain with their real instinct.

Confidence: If you have competence but you don’t have self-confidence you will never be able to succeed on stage, but if you have self-confidence and you may not have competence you will still succeed on stage.

Public Speaking is never about perfection, it is always about self-confidence.

Engagement: Audience engagement is everything to me when I come on stage. It is evident because a speaker speaks for audience not for himself. Connecting with audience at frequent intervals is the rule of public speaking.

If you want to improve your public speaking and presentation skills or those of your team; if you are looking for a keynote speaker or moderator for your next event; if you would like to boost your team’s collaboration and creativity skills through the world of improve, let’s talk.
