Manyam District Schools Get Innovation Boost with Atal Tinkering Labs and Online Mentorship

Parvathipuram, Andhra Pradesh – June 25, 2024: The Manyam District Education Department is revving up its efforts to ignite a passion for innovation among students. Led by District Education Officer (DEO) Smt G Pagadalamma, the department is ensuring all Atal Tinkering Labs (ATLs) in the district are operating effectively according to Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) guidelines.

 

Smt Pagadalamma welcomed the visit of Sunanda Rao, a Regional Mentor of Change for AIM and career coach. Ms. Rao’s visit yesterday marked the official launch of the ATL program at KGBV, Jogimpeta school. She introduced students to the exciting world of ATLs, explaining the various tools and equipment available and how to use them for creative projects aligned with the monthly ATL Calendar. Ms. Rao further inspired students to participate in the Tinkerpreneur 2024 challenge, encouraging their entrepreneurial spirit.

The entire team, including the DEO, Assistant Project Management Officer (AMO), and ATL in-charges, is enthusiastic about the Tinkerpreneur 2024 program. They believe Ms. Rao’s online mentorship will be instrumental in the success of the ATL initiative across the district.
