New Delhi, June 2024: KL Deemed to be University is proud to announce that its faculty Dr. Ketavath Kumar Naik, a distinguished professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), has been granted a patent by the Government of India, Patent Office. This prestigious recognition highlights his innovative contributions to the field of biomedical engineering.

The patent, titled “Patch Antenna System for Implantable Biomedical Applications,” is an invention that showcases our commitment to advancing medical technology. This invention is set to make significant strides in improving biomedical applications through its innovative design and functionality.

This invention addresses the critical need for reliable and efficient implantable antenna systems, which are integral to various biomedical devices. The patented patch antenna system is designed to enhance the performance and reliability of these devices, ensuring better patient outcomes and advancing the field of medical technology at implantable medical devices (IMDs) that sense one or more physiological parameters of a patient.
