Anant University TEDx: Celebrating Solutionaries.

Ahmedabad, April 2025: Anant National University hosted TEDxAnant National University, a licensed TED event that brought together distinguished thought leaders, changemakers and sustainability experts for a transformative full-day experience. Themed Solutionaries, the event celebrated revolutionary thinkers with a solution-oriented mindset, featuring prominent figures who have significantly contributed to society through their work.

The theme held special significance for Anant, as it aligned with the university’s core values of nurturing individuals who can identify real-world challenges and craft sustainable solutions using design thinking principles.

Speakers included Shri M Nagarajan, IAS, Gujarat Cadre and VC and MD, GSRTC; Mr Sajith Ansar, CEO and Founder of Unlimits.ai and Idea Spice Design, Dubai; Mr Kiran Vaghela, Founder and Director, Hunnarshala Foundation; and Ms Dinie van den Heuvel, a PhD student at Anant National University and Creative Director, Infantium Victoria, Brussels.

Each speaker brought a wealth of knowledge, creativity and impactful ideas to the stage, inspiring participants with their remarkable journey and insights. From providing listeners with actionable insights on taking control of their future by design to exploring what discarded cloth pieces can teach us about creativity, sustainability and innovation, the sessions covered a variety of topics.

The evening concluded with a soulful performance by Anant’s artist-in-residence, Ravice Rashid, from Kashmir. His heartfelt call to save Dal Lake left a profound impact on attendees, resonating deeply with the theme of Solutionaries.

TEDxAnant National University aimed to empower participants with a solutionary mindset, equipping them to drive meaningful change in their communities and beyond. The event took participants on an inspiring journey of discovery through ground-breaking ideas and achievements, leaving them with fresh perspectives and a renewed sense of purpose to make a positive impact on society.
