JEE Main Session 1 Results Set to Release: Key Dates and Exam Insights

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to declare the outcomes of the Joint Entrance Exam-Main (JEE Main) Session 1 on Monday, February 12, 2024. Individuals who sat for the exam can access the official NTA website to review their results.

Successful candidates in the JEE Main will be eligible to take the JEE Advanced. Online registration for JEE Advanced will commence on April 21, 2024, and conclude on April 30, 2024.

The JEE Main Session 1 assessments took place between January 24 and February 1, 2024. During the application process, applicants had the choice to apply for a single session or, for more flexibility, opt for both sessions by paying the requisite fees.

The second session of JEE Main is scheduled from April 1 to 15. The deadline for submitting applications for JEE Main Session 2 is March 2, 2024. A total of 12,31,874 candidates registered for both papers of JEE Mains, with 11,70,036 taking the test.

With regards to attendance, according to NTA data, 95.8% of the registered candidates participated in Paper 1 (BE/BTech) during the JEE Main January 2024 exam, marking one of the highest attendance rates recorded for the JEE Main. Out of the 12,21,615 candidates registered for JEE Main Paper 1, an impressive 11,70,036 candidates appeared for the exam. Furthermore, for the JEE Main session 1 BArch / B.Planning paper, 55,493 candidates out of the total 74,002 registered candidates took the exam.

The Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) is held for prospective engineering students aiming to pursue BTech programs in esteemed institutions like the Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) and others. IIT Madras is the organizing institute for the JEE Advanced 2024.

To check the result:
Step 1: Visit the official JEE Main result website – jeemain.nta.ac.in.
Step 2: Choose the option “View score card” or “View JEE Main 2024 result.”
Step 3: Enter your application number and password.
Step 4: Your complete NTA JEE Main result will appear on the screen, displaying your scores.
Step 5: Ensure to print out and save the JEE result page for future reference.
