Mohan Babu University Strengthens Placement Track Record With 1,990 Offers, Achieves 95% Placement Rate
Tirupati, 21stMay 2026: Mohan Babu University (MBU), one of India’s leading industry-focused universities, has achieved a 95% placement rate for the academic year 2025–26, with 1,990 students securing placement offers across technology, engineering, analytics, consulting, and emerging domains. Students from the university have been placed at leading organisations including Infosys, IBM, Cognizant, Accenture, and Deloitte, with the average package standing at ₹6 LPA.
The university recorded a 10% year-on-year growth in overall placements, reflecting sustained improvement in student outcomes and increasing industry demand for MBU graduates.
The placement season also saw strong participation across multiple schools of Mohan Babu University, with AI & ML, CSE, and ECErecording over 10% year-on-year growth in placement outcomes. The highest number of placements this year came from the Computing disciplines, underlining the increasing preference among recruiters.
MBU’s strong placement momentum has been driven by its structured career readiness ecosystem that focuses extensively on bridging the industry-academia gap. The university has introduced several targeted initiatives including STEP (Standardized Test of English Proficiency), CEPPR (Continuous Evaluation Program for Placement Readiness), Advanced Java Training, Campus Recruitment Training (CRT), and the Top Gun Program aimed at nurturing high-potential students. These initiatives are designed to strengthen communication skills, coding ability, technical proficiency, aptitude readiness, problem-solving, and interview preparedness through continuous assessment and industry-oriented training modules.
MBU’s placement outcomes are supported by its industry-aligned ecosystem across high-demand fields like AI & ML, Data Science, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, and DevOps. Through collaborations with IBM and SAP, the university also focuses on hands-on, project-based learning to enhance industry readiness and employability.
