Students who appeared for the CBSE Class 10 and 12 board exams this year, your results are likely just around the corner! With exams conducted between February 15 and April 4, 2025, all eyes are now on the official announcement from the Central Board of Secondary Education.
Here’s what we know:
- Expected Timing: Based on previous years’ trends, the CBSE Class 10 and 12 results are anticipated to be declared around the second week of May. In recent years, results were announced on May 13 in 2024 and May 12 in 2023.
- Official Channels: Keep a close watch on the official CBSE websites: cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in, and results.cbse.nic.in for the latest updates.
- Beware of Fake News: CBSE has already dismissed a fake circular claiming results would be out on May 6th. Always rely on official sources for accurate information.
- How to Check Your Result: Once released, you can check your scorecards on the following platforms:
- Official CBSE websites mentioned above.
- DigiLocker: Schools have already generated unique codes, and CBSE has released student access pins for this platform.
- UMANG App: This mobile application will also host the results.
- IVRS (Interactive Voice Response System): CBSE will also provide a special IVRS facility to check results.
Key Highlights from Previous Years:
Girls have consistently outperformed boys in past years. In 2024, the pass rate for girls was 87.98% for Class 12 and 93.60% for Class 10.
The minimum passing mark in each subject is 33%. Students falling slightly short may be eligible for grace marks.
Over 42 lakh students appeared for the CBSE Class 10 and 12 exams this year.
