In addition to flying the aircraft, a commercial pilot has to also manage the aircraft. He or she has to ensure that all flight operations are done safely. This includes complying with aviation regulations, operating the airplane safely, pre-flight checks etc.

Education required for becoming a commercial pilot is that they must have an undergraduate degree in a relevant field, preferably a Science based subject such as Mathematics or Physics. They must have Commercial Pilot License from a recognized institute and other licenses such as Airline Transport Pilot Licenses.

Commercial pilots have a very good pay scale. The average base salary for a commercial pilot ranges from Rs. 17 lakh to Rs. 22 lakh per annum. A pilot who has less than one year experience can also get a package of Rs. 15 lakh per annum.

SOFTWARE ARCHITECT
